Nature's Therapy Lotion Bars
|
What’s a Lotion Bar?
Lotion Bars are a hand and body lotion in it’s pure form. They are
made with pure oils and butters that are wonderfully nourishing for
your skin. They contain no preservatives or water and are solid at
room temperature. The warmth of your skin allows solid lotion to
glide right onto your skin. You don't even need to rub it in. They
come in a push up container, for traveling. They are especially
wonderful for hands, elbows, heels, arms, and newly shaven legs. |
How are they different from regular lotions?
Regular lotions are made with a high percentage of water and require
preservatives to keep them free of bacteria and mold. Our Lotion
Bars don’t require preservatives, as they don’t contain water. Many
lotions contain alcohol and/or mineral oils, which are very drying
to your skin. Mineral oil is difficult for your skin to absorb and
clogs the pores. These chemicals also make your skin feel greasy. |
Special uses:
Cut off a sliver and put into your hot bath, for an extra luxurious
skin softening experience. Use the unscented bar as a lip balm.
Great on eczema and psoriasis. Great for traveling, due to being a
solid lotion. |
What are the nourishing properties of these butters and oils?
Avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, D and E. This highly therapeutic
oil is said to have healing and cell regenerating properties.
Cocoa
Butter lays down a protective layer on the skin that holds moisture
to the skin, thus making it a good skin softener. It is also known
for preventing/helping with scars and stretch marks.
Coconut oil is rich in many proteins. These proteins
keep skin healthy and rejuvenated. It has strong disinfectant and
anti microbial properties. It contains vitamin e, which is known for
healthy skin growth, repair, and keeping skin protected.
Shea Butter
is from central Africa and is used for protection and care of skin
that is cracked and dehydrated by the harsh elements in this desert
climate. This exotic butter adds a rich, silky feel and skin
soothing qualities. Shea Butter is effective in treating dry skin,
eczema, psoriasis, stretch marks, burns, sunburn, windburn,
wrinkles, and other skin problems.
Hempseed Oil is an excellent oil for providing essential fatty acids
to your skin. These fatty acids are high in antioxidant protection
as well as help to protect your skin from moisture loss. It is high
in vitamins A and E. Hempseed oil has been reported to reduce
inflammation, eczema, and psoriasis. |
